Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires a hands-on approach, working with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality finishes. The carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

– Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture.

– Perform carpentry tasks with precision using hand tools and power tools.

– Carry out heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.

– Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and roofers, to ensure seamless project executionion.

– Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

– Proficient in 2nd fix carpentry and joinery skills.

– Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in joinery.

– Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.

– Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage.

– Familiarity with roofing structures is beneficial.

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
